Deva Premal grew up in a home of Sanskrit mantras and classical music in Nuremberg, Germany. At 11, she became a disciple of Osho. At 17, she traveled to India and found her path.
Miten was a London musician who opened for Fleetwood Mac and The Kinks. At 29, he left everything for an ashram in India. There he found meditation — and eventually, Deva.
Together they recorded their first album, The Essence, in the apartment where Deva was born. That album launched a global mantra revolution. 25+ albums, Grammy nomination, concerts from Siberia to Peru, and a community that spans every continent.
